About Me

After a long career in ShowBiz (not finished!), I now work from my home in Brussels for my brother's company Handscombe Financial Planning Limited (Handscombes.com) in Luton. After graduating from Cambridge with a B.Ed. (Hons.) Degree (as a teacher) in 1974, I worked for the next 24 years in the Entertainment Business as a musician in bands, in shows, doing TV work, recording, songwriting & eventually as a Piano Entertainer throughout Europe & the Middle East and also on cruises.

My brother asked me to join his company in early 1998, since when I have developed my IT skills myself, eventually becoming Webmaster for Handscombes.com & Handscombes.co.uk. I also have several music Websites of my own to present my songs and compositions, of which SongLand.com is the main one, plus other sites I have built, e.g. Adaptations-fr-ang.com for my work in the adaptation of song lyrics from French into English.

I'm now appearing at...

Nothing to report at the moment. I rarely do public appearances these days 'cos Music-with-the-Mouse is now my great love! The instruments & equipment I use are: Piano or keyboards (when working live). At home: Cubase VST 5.1 + various VSTi's, Roland 3000s, voice, brain and... heart!

I'm also doing some online songwriting with Andy Goggin in Denmark. Some of the fruits of our work will be appearing on SongLand.com soon...

And I've recently worked closely with Lars E. Carlsson on several songs, composing the music to lyrics sent by Lars, who has a long songwriting career behind him, with many hits and more success to come...
